Frequently Asked Questions
-
→ Are you in control of your life?
Your patterns, habits, fears, reactions, and decisions did not start with you.
You were shaped by what you were taught, what others expected, and the roles you learned to play.
→ Here, woke means to see what makes your decisions when you think it’s you, to change the limiting beliefs that make your world smaller, to start living like your needs matter, and to form meaningful relationships with other women.
Women That Woke brings women together to see what really runs the show.
Do you keep ending up in the same kinds of relationships, struggle to get ahead financially, or neglect yourself until your body forces you to pay attention?
→ It’s not bad luck. It’s a pattern you learned—and a loop you keep repeating.
Money is a loop. Health is a loop. Relationships are loops.
Over time, the loop becomes automatic—it happens without conscious choice—and becomes harder to interrupt.
→ And it’s worse than you think.
If you don’t know the loop is running, you’re basically playing chess against a grandmaster who already knows your next move.
You don’t have a chance.
If you can’t see the loop, the loop is the house—and the house wins every time.
When you understand this, you stop letting what you were born into decide for you. You start choosing who you are on purpose.
→ It’s not woo woo.
→ It’s awareness.
→ It’s your wake-up. -
Women That Woke is built around a set of shared beliefs:
→ Not every decision you make is your own.
→ Not everything you inherit deserves to stay with you.
→ Familiarity is not evidence of value.
→ Limiting beliefs cost you quality of life.
→ Awareness changes everything.
→ Your needs matter.
→ Women need meaningful relationships with other women.
→ Every woman matters.
→ What you learn should change how you live.
-
Here, when you are woke:
→ You question what’s making your decisions instead of assuming every choice is entirely your own.
→ You question what you inherited instead of carrying it forward automatically.
→ You recognize that when something or someone is familiar, it simply means you’ve experienced it repeatedly; it does not mean it adds value to your life.
→ You challenge limiting beliefs that cost you quality of life.
→ You pay attention to what you couldn’t see before.
→ You know your needs matter and stop abandoning them for everyone else.
→ You build meaningful relationships with other women and allow yourself to both contribute and receive.
→ You seek to understand other women before judging them.
→ You use what you learn to change how you live.

Here, we wake in real life, together.
There’s a proverb: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
We wake in groups of 9 women. For 12 weeks, each group becomes its own small community.
There are two ways we wake together.
READ Together
→ Join to SEE IT.Through powerful nonfiction books written by women, Read helps you see the beliefs, conditioning, past experiences, expectations, and fears that shape your decisions.
Find out what you don’t know, together.
9 women. 12 weeks. “I see what I couldn’t see before.”
RISE Together
→ Join to CHANGE IT.Through deliberate practice, Rise introduces new behaviors, new responses, new boundaries, new beliefs, and new ways of living.
Become harder to control, together.
9 women. 12 weeks. “I change on purpose.”
-
We all enter the room with learned ways of thinking, feeling, seeing, and treating other women. A lot of the time, these patterns operate in us without our awareness and we never consciously chose them.
While we are together, you are asked to practice one core thing—empathy.
Empathy means trying to understand another woman before judging, blaming, dismissing, or reacting to her.
Empathy asks you to pause and ask:
→ What might she be feeling?
→ What might I not understand?
→ Am I judging what I have not lived?
→ Where is my reaction coming from? Is it mine, or did I learn it from someone else?
→ Am I trying to understand or prove a point?
→ How might my words affect her?
We practice empathy by listening to understand, asking instead of assuming, and staying curious about lives, choices, and feelings that are different from our own.
Empathy does not mean we must agree. It does not mean accepting harmful behavior or abandoning our own boundaries. It means being honest without forgetting that the woman in front of you is human.
Empathy does not promise perfect behavior. But it asks us to stay aware of how our behavior affects another woman.
→ Here, we leave competition behind and choose cooperation.
→ Here, we practice empathy because every woman matters.

Each group has 9 women.
→ Groups are formed thoughtfully. We place you with women in a similar age range and life stage because shared life experience can make connection easier.
A community of women is one of the greatest support systems you can have. We want you to leave with friendships that continue beyond the 12 weeks. You won’t connect deeply with every woman. But if you form a real friendship with even one, that’s life-changing.
Age ranges are:
→ 18–24
→ 25–34
→ 35–44
→ 45–54
→ 55–64
→ 65+Once all 9 spots in your group are filled, your experience begins.
→ You stay with the same women for the full 12 weeks.
If a woman leaves, she is not replaced. The group continues with the women who remain.
Can I be in the same group as a friend?
Yes. Include your friend’s name when you join, and we’ll place you in the same group. Just make sure she signs up too.

→ Each Read together and Rise together group is a small community built through shared responsibility.
That means every woman helps her group of 9 by taking part, communicating, and following through.
We arrange your first meetup. After that, your group chooses and arranges future meetup locations together.
→ Before you join, have at least one possible meetup location in mind that you can offer your group. This could be a home, condo room, community room, library room, quiet coffee shop, or another calm indoor space.
We give your group your first name only. After that, what personal information you share is up to you.
At your first meetup, you’ll put faces to names, choose how you’ll stay connected, and begin arranging future meetups together.
There is no risk in joining. If you decide the group isn’t for you, simply request a refund within 30 days of your first meetup. We’ll only ask for your honest feedback.
There is no hierarchy. Each meetup follows a timed agenda we provide. Your group develops its own rhythm, energy, and way of working together.
→ By joining, you agree to take part and share responsibility. We all make this happen together.
-
→ You support us by joining a Read Together or Rise Together group.
The cost is $39 per month for 3 months.
Your payment gives you a place in a 12-week real-world experience created with purpose. Each experience helps you wake by learning, connecting, belonging, and sharing real life with other women.
Your payment helps Women That Woke continue to grow and become available to more women.
→ How Payment Works
→ Step 1: You pay the first $39 when you join.
→ Step 2: Once your group is fully formed, you receive a notice to pay the remaining $78.
